Nonfiction Mentor for Adroit Journal’s Summer Mentorship Program

Haven’t updated this blog in a while, but I should to commemorate this milestone—being able to mentor two young nonfiction writers, one from Texas, the other from Maryland, as part of the Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program. For six weeks, we read selected nonfiction pieces together, while I read their works in progress and offered feedback on zoom (where we met every two weeks to talk about their work and the required readings) and by email. I love teaching and had a lot of fun doing this!
